Keep the veneer safe and do not attempt to glue it yourself. Contact your dentist right away so they can clean the surface, diagnose the problem, and recement or remake it if necessary. Warranties may cover repairs or replacement.
Decay needs to be treated before veneers are fitted. If the cavity is small and the tooth remains strong after repair, a veneer may still be suitable. If the damage is extensive, a crown or another restorative option is usually the safer choice.
