Step 1:

To get started, send us your dental X-rays and a few clear mouth photos on WhatsApp or email, along with a short note about what is bothering you. This helps Dr. Emrah Yeşilyurt review your case and advise you before you travel, so you feel informed from the start. If you have recent reports or past treatments, please share those as well.
After the review, we come back to you with a provisional diagnosis and a treatment plan that fits your needs. We explain the options in plain language, whether you are considering implant treatments or a Hollywood smile. You will also get a clear idea of how many visits you may need and how the process usually goes.
We then share a cost estimation based on the plan we discussed. If you are travelling to see us, we help you plan the best dates and the likely length of stay. You can ask questions at any point, and we will guide you step by step.
Step 2:
Arrival in Istanbul & VIP Transfer
As soon as you land in Istanbul, our team will assist you in settling in with ease. We arrange for airport pickup in advance, so you do not have to look for a taxi or figure out where to go. Your driver meets you at the arranged meeting point, helps with your luggage, and takes you straight to your hotel.
After check-in, you can settle in and take a breath after your flight. Many patients like to rest, have a light meal, and get a good night’s sleep before their clinic visit. If you need anything, such as help with the hotel, local tips, or a quick update on your next day’s schedule, we are only a message away.
This is your time to rest before your first clinic visit. A calm start often makes treatment days run more smoothly and efficiently.
Step 3:
Clinical Examination & Digital Smile Design
At your first clinic visit, we do a detailed examination to confirm the safest and most effective plan for you. We use a 3D tomography scan, also known as CBCT, to see the teeth, bone, and jaw structure in detail. This allows us to monitor what is going on beneath the surface and avoid surprises later.
Next, we do a clinical assessment and discuss your dental goals in a calm, clear way. If you are considering a smile makeover, we can create a mock-up of your new look using Digital Smile Design. We also share before and after photos of successful cases to give you more confidence in the direction we are going.
After we have reviewed everything together, we finalise the treatment plan and timeline. You will know what happens next, how long it will take, and what to expect each day.
Step 4:
The Treatment Procedure
When you arrive for your appointment, we’ll try to ensure that you are comfortable and relaxed. We’ll use local anesthesia in order to numb the area so you do not feel any discomfort during the process. If you require a short break, simply raise your hand, and we’ll take a break.
Once you are numb, we carefully prepare your teeth according to the plan we agreed on. We take our time, work gently, and keep you updated as we proceed. Following that, we take precise measurements to ensure that your new teeth fit perfectly with your bite and smile.
Before you leave, we place temporary teeth so you are not walking around without teeth while the final set is being made. During the waiting period, you can smile and speak more freely. While you wear the temporaries, our lab produces your final restorations, and we schedule the next appointment based on that timeline.
If you are having dental implants, the approach depends on your bone and gum condition. In some cases, an implant can be placed right after a tooth is removed, while in others, we allow healing first or plan a bone graft procedure to increase long-term stability. After the procedure, our lab starts making your custom teeth, shaped and colour-matched to the smile plan you agreed with us.
Step 5:
Laboratory Customisation & Fitting
After your teeth are prepared, our lab starts making your veneers or crowns using your digital scans and the measurements we took at the clinic. A dental technician carefully shapes each tooth to ensure it fits comfortably in your bite and looks natural alongside your lips and face. They pay close attention to detail so that your smile looks just right. They also create surface details such as the smooth shine and gentle contours found in real teeth.
When the restorations are ready, we do a trial fitting before anything is fixed in place. Dr. Emrah Yeşilyurt tries them on to check the bite, the contact points between teeth, and how comfortable they feel when you close your mouth. We also look at the smile in the mirror together, so you can see the shape and overall look in normal light.
For colour matching, we use the Vita shade guide, and we can also use Ivoclar shade options when we need more detail. This helps us choose the right brightness and the right natural tone, not just a flat white. If anything needs a small change, we can adjust it before the final bonding step.
Step 6:
Final Bonding & Quality Check
Once you and your dentist are satisfied with the fit and colour, the final restoration is permanently bonded in place. Before dental cement is applied, the tooth is cleaned, gently etched, and dried. The piece is then seated and cured under a special light. Any extra cement is removed, leaving the edges smooth and the gums comfortable.
Next, your bite and jaw alignment are checked while you bite down, chew, and speak. If anything feels a little high or catches when you bite, we make small adjustments and polish the surface until it feels smooth, natural, and comfortable. The final aesthetics are reviewed in good light, with a mirror and photos, to confirm the edges, colour match, and alignment.
Before you leave, you may be asked to rinse and confirm that the floss passes normally between the teeth. If you have ongoing pain, notice a sharp edge, or your bite still feels off, please contact the clinic, and we will advise you straight away.
Post-Treatment Care & Warranty
Before you fly home, we book a final check-up to make sure everything feels comfortable and stable. We review your bite, gums, and new teeth, and answer any remaining questions. If you need a quick polish or a small adjustment, we do it before you go back.
We also give you simple aftercare guidance, so you know how to brush and floss around your new teeth. We explain what to avoid in the first few days, such as very hard or sticky foods, so everything settles well. If you have implants, we also show you how to keep the gum area clean while it heals.
We then explain the warranty in clear, everyday language, including details like a 5-year implant guarantee when it applies to your treatment.
